OUR LATEST CATALOGUE
Our first catalogue of 2013 is now available free on request. Highlights include a copy of The Trial of Katherine Nairn and Patrick Ogilvie for the Crimes of Incest and Murder (1st); Arthur Appleton's now scarce monograph of Mary Ann Cotton; The Extraordinary Life and Character of Mary Bateman, The Yorkshire Witch c1809; The Veil of Secrecy Removed - The Only True and Authentic History of Edward H. Rulloff, His Biography, Trials and Execution ( 1st Edition 1871); Pierce Egan's Account of the Trial of John Thurtell and Joseph Hunt this copy including the rare Appendix Recollections of John Thurtell, who was Executed at Hertford, on Friday 9th January; for Murdering Mr. Weare. This Appendix is so often missing in most copies. We also have a nice selection of Notable British Trials Series from a recent purchase. Not all have been listed so do check with us if you have gaps to fill in your collection.
Over 200 items are catalogued and subjects include: RARE & UNUSUAL. CLASSIC CASES, WESTERN AMERICANA, JACK THE RIPPER, FORENSIC and NOTABLE TRIALS SERIES.

In September 1978 we issued our first catalogue of True Crime & Criminology books, a very humble duplicated listing. Since that time we have produced nearly two hundred subsequent editions, cataloguing many thousands of rare books, broadsides and items of ephemera, all relating to true crime.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the wide variety of postal rates throughout the world, the rates shown in your order confirmation are intended as a guide only. Where the actual rate varies substantially we will notify you of the actual cost by e-mail prior to processing the order. Antiquarian and rare items will be sent by insured postage and charged accordingly. All parcels over 1kg to a UK destination will automactically be sent via our 48hr fully insured, 'signed for' Parcelforce contract service. It is not our policy to make a profit on shipping costs.
