Stapled unbound booklet of a paper read at the meeting of the Archaeological Section of the Natural History Society at the Reference Library, December 14th, 1905 Little light foxing. The author divided the punishments carried out in the County into those involving deprivation of life, mutilation and loss of liberty and those with only a pecuniary penalty.

A partly stapled booklet which appears to be a reprint from a larger publication and the pages are numbered 217 - 229. A small paragraph is included from the Peterborough Citizen, dated 4th March, 1924 but there is no other date for this little essay. (Mr Adcock also gave talks to the Natural History and Field Society around the early 1900s, one of which was "Capital Punishment in Northamptonshire" so this publication could have been an address to that Society also),
