THORP, Raymond W. & Robert Bunker INDIAN KILLER. The Saga of Liver-eating Johnson London Harborough Publishing/Ace Books 1950 First UK paperback Edition Softcover VG 156pp. Very minor chips to rear cover and slight crease, couple of tiny chips to page edges but still a very nice copy of this unusual paperback. Pages just lightly tanned. In May 1847 John Johnson, a trapper, returned to his Rocky Mountain cabin to find the remains of his Indian wife and unborn child who had been killed by Crow braves. He vowed vengeance on the whole Crow nation and set out to track down its warriors. He killed and scalped 300 and ate their livers. A macabre story told through patient research and oral accounts of Johnson's partner 'Del' Grue and another mountain man, White-Eye Anderson. (The 1st hardback U.S. edition was published in 1958 and was entitled 'Crow Killer'). Price:
