Woolfolk, was savagely murdered along with his wife, six children and his wife's 84-year-old great aunt in Bibb County, Georgia. Amidst mass hysteria the authorities arrested the eldest son and sole survivor, Thomas G. Woolfolk, who was deemed to be the lone axe murderer. Was he really the killer? Following publication of the original book, numerous new stories emerged and this is a fine updated edition with some rare photographs.
