In 1962 Peter Tait was found guilty of the brutal murder of an old lady in Victoria, Australia. There was no doubt of his guilt but the case became a battle of public opinion as he was sentenced to hang. The author relates the story of the man, the crime and the aftermath. Although from a company library, still a nice copy of this unusual Australian case.
